About your monthly planner printable
SIZE: These monthly planner printables are US Letter Size (8.5″x11″). They can be printed on A4 paper as well, but the margins will be slightly larger. They may also be able to be resized to A5. Check your print preview and choose “Scale to Fit” and “Fill Entire Page” to get the best result.
UNDATED CALENDARS: The calendars on the planners are undated and can be used for any month in any year. Simply write the current month on the top right line and add the dates to the calendar (grab one of my 2023 calendars or 2024 calendars if you’d like a reference).
PRINTABLE OR DIGITAL: These monthly planner templates can be printed or loaded into a digital note taking app (such as Goodnotes).
HIGH QUALITY PDF: These are high quality PDFs for a pretty & crisp print!
MONDAY & SUNDAY START: Both Monday & Sunday start options are available so you can use whichever you’re most comfortable with.
COLORFUL OPTIONS: I’ve included 10 beautiful color options: pastel rainbow, pink, yellow, peach, green, sky blue, pink lavender, blue, purple and plain. Pick your favorite one or use a different color every month!
PERSONAL USE ONLY: Print/use as many templates as you want, as many times as you want! For personal use only (selling or redistributing as your own is not allowed. Classroom/office use is fine!).
How to use a monthly planner printable
To use your monthly planner, simply print it out and fill in the dates for the month. Then, fill in any important events, plans or reminders throughout the calendar. Use the “To Do” area to list the things that need to get done throughout the month, and use the “Notes” area for any other information you want to add.
This monthly planner is versatile and can be used however you like! Here are some useful things you can do with it:
- Create an action plan for your monthly goals
- Use it as an overview for your work schedule
- Use it as an overview for your school schedule
- Use it as a general calendar to keep track of events, appointments and dates
I chose the colors schemes so your printable looks beautiful on it’s own, but if you’d like to decorate it further, I recommend taping some cute washi tape to the boarders. This is my favorite way to quickly spruce up printables and planner pages.
P.S. If you like these monthly planners, you might like my matching daily planners and weekly planners as well!
How to set effective monthly goals
I personally love to use my monthly planner for goal setting. Goal setting can be tricky, but I’ve learned some important tips for turning dreams into reality over the past year. If you’d like to try setting your own monthly goals or if you’ve had trouble achieving monthly goals in the past, here are some simple tips that can help you:
Think about your longterm goals first. Before you set your monthly goals, think about your overall objectives. Are your goals meant to be achieved in one month? Or do they need to be broken down and worked on throughout the year? Considering this will help you create realistic plans. This brings me to my next tip:
Make your goals achievable. We often overestimate what we can accomplish in a certain period of time. If this sounds like you, don’t worry! It just means you’re ambitious and that’s a great thing. However, setting unrealistic goals often leads to disappointment. Remember the quote “Rome wasn’t built in a day” and set goals you know you can achieve.
Prioritize your goals. While you may have the desire to set many different goals, it’s important to prioritize the ones that are most important to you. As explained in the book The One Thing, focusing on your main goal is the key to success!
Create your action plan. Using your favorite monthly planner printable, break down your goals into daily tasks and schedule them into the calendar.
