Printable goal setting worksheet

printable goal setting worksheets

Have you chosen your monthly focus or goal yet? If not, that’s okay! I have a few tips for you plus I created a cute & useful printable goal sheet you can use to focus in on the right goal for you.

Start by identifying what’s important to you. What do you want to improve on? Is there anything specific you want to achieve?

Once you get a general idea, narrow it down to a specific focus, goal or theme. No matter what you choose, make sure you can realistically focus on it over the course of a month (for example: try not to pick something like “weekly volunteering” if you’re already swamped with other priorities for the month).

Now, fill in your goal setting worksheet with your plans. Make sure to keep it close to you or display it so you can easily reference it throughout the month (I recommend using this cute standing clipboard to display it!).

This printable is US letter size 8.5″ x 11″, though it should be resizable to A4 (and possibly A5 as well). Be sure to select “scale to fit” and “fill entire page” in your printer settings. If you prefer to go paperless, you can load it into a digital planner app and edit it from there instead of printing.

How to actually put your monthly focus into action

We’ve talked all about setting a monthly focus, but how about actually putting your focus into action? Let’s dive into how you can work through your monthly focus in 3 simple steps!

STEP 1: Make a plan. Once you have your focus chosen, it’s time to make a plan. Brainstorm easy ways you can get your focus going and work on it throughout the month. For example, if your focus is improving your strength, your plan can include finding a gym you like, scheduling your workouts and getting a journal to track your results.

STEP 2: Track your progress. This is crucial to staying motivated and on track with your focus. You’ll be able to see how well you work as well as what you accomplish over the course of the month.

Step 3: Review and adjust along the way. Don’t wait until the end of the month to review. Make it a habit to reflect on how well you worked on your focus on a daily or weekly basis. This will help prevent you from procrastinating and waiting until the last minute to start working! (P.S. I have an awesome weekly check-in printable you’ll love for this!)

To recap: remember to make a plan, track your progress and adjust as needed. With a little bit of effort and determination you’ll be amazed at what you can achieve in just one month!

It’s all about that focus!

Remember, setting a monthly focus is all about making positive changes. It’s a great way to stay motivated, feel fulfilled and work toward the life you dream of. So, why not try it out? Use the ideas I listed in this post + the printable goal setting sheet to land on the right focus or goal for you.
